Drawings and Textures

Here is some work that I have done, which is the drawing of some robot figures in an artists style. I found this very useful as it had helped me to see how I should go about doing this design and also, how I can replicate textures in real life.

Bird Photoshop Work

This is my Photoshop work of an idea I had originally came up with. I had made a bird that was going to look mechanical and have a metal cog at the end of its tail. Its wings were going to be attached by a webbing feature and have antennas at the top of its upper head.

Mood board

This is the mood board I did on what types of reference materials from images I thought I needed to help me design my initial idea. I had saw the use of bolts, nut and spheres.

Thumbnail Sketches

Here is some of the sketches I did of possible design ideas that I may use in my final piece. Personally, I prefer the 10th design as I like the idea of a mechanical robot that is based off of a turtle.

Robots in Industry

Here is some of the research I did of the robots that have actually been made in real life. I have shown the uses for them and also the ethical issues some people may have with having the robots, with them in the industry.
